Philippines - Manila, Makati, Global City

I spent my timeover the weekend in Philippines. I stayed in a hotel in Makati and could run around the area and Global City. I could also visit the old Manila area.

The temperature went up to around 30 deg. C during the day and was bit muggy even in early mornings.

Alaya Triangle in Makati - nice and green area.

National Art Center/Tokyo Midtown

We went to National Art Center today.

We enjoyed the Divisionists exhibition.

The museum is a walking distance from Tokyo Midtown.

The Midtown Garden had some event going on.

There were many families having a nice afternoon at the park.

A very nice pond is there, too.

Back in Sendai

I had a nice morning run in Sendai last week. The weather was cool and nice.

I ran to the old castle park.  This is the former weapons storage building at the entrance.

A Shinto shrine sits at the ground of the castle now.

A statue of Lu Xun.  The famous 20th Century Chinese writer  lived here for 2 years (1904-1906).

A bear warning sign by a bridge behind the castle ground.

By the station, a subway construction is carried out.

The official store of Vegalta Sendai - local football team.

Rakuten Eagles, the Sendai local baseball team is the Pacific League Baseball Champions.
