Local Runs

I could go for nice runs this weekend.  Now, it is after Autumnal Equinox, it is getting cooler.

Yesterday morning, I ran mainly eastward from home.

Okinawa Again

I was back in Naha, Okinawa and went for a run yesterday morning.  I found a very nice park - Sueyoshi Park, about 5 km away from my hotel.

This is actually a creek, but is covered with volcanic rocks.

Allamanda flowers were very pretty.

It took a while to find what these flowers were - locals call it Kuroyona.

Kichijoji Festival 2016

Annual Matsuri (Festival) of Kichijoji was this weekend.  Mikoshi were carried around the streets.

A Nice Long Run on Saturday

Yesterday morning, I went for a long run from home.  It is now getting a bit cooler here in Tokyo - good thing!

There were many ducks at Zenpukuji Park Pond - very peaceful.

Koganei Country Club - this is the most expensive golf club in Japan.

At Koganei Park, a 5-Hour Endurance run was going on.

I was back in Marugame and could go for short, but a nice run on Wednesday morning.
