Rainy Morning Run in Kinugawa Onsen

It was raining cold this morning in Kinugawa Onsen.  I braved a run - and it turned out great!


There are many hotels that were shut down.

A monument reminds us of Boshin War.  The battle that look place here was one of a few losing fight by Meiji Government in 1868.

A stream by the monument - there must have been samurai fights here.

I was lucky to see a testing of a steam locomotive due to debut this summer.

Waseda - Toyama Park - Momozono-River Green Promenade Run

This morning, I ran from Waseda Station back home.

Station Exit.

Ana Hachimangu Shrine - very close from the station.

A monument of Hakoneyama - a nickname for this area - used to be an army school.

The beginning of Momozono-gawa Green Promenade - used to be a river - the entire river was converted into a culvert by around 1970.
