This morning, I had a run in Tateshina - a major part on Venus Line. I had to be careful for snow and ice were left from the snow fall the other day.
The road by our place was cleared.
But some side roads were not.
Wood chips were scattered to prevent slipping.
Animal prints on the side of the road.
Venus Line sign.
Cars of the hikers to Tateshina-yama.
The straight climb to the highest point.
The highest point of this area - 1,760 meters above sea level.
Coming back down on the straightaway.
A beautiful view from a lookout.
Yokodake.
Looking towards the lookout.
One of the older houses of our neighborhood was recently demolished.
Very slippery ice on the road by our place.
