Photos from the Last Run of 2018

I could enjoy a nice run with my wife around noon time today.  Unlike Toyama, it was a beautiful clear weather.

Nobody was at the new little park south of Chuokoen Park.

An amateur vegetable garden by the park.

A Koshin monument by Mitaka Station.

Amazingly, this Japanese maple tree still give us pleasure with beautiful leaves.

Southern Mumbai Runs

I stayed at a hotel on the south side of Mumbai, India, this week.  I could put in two nice runs, despite the bad air quality (I wore a mask to run).

On Tuesday, it was an early morning run.

A big construction project for Mumbai Metro is on going.

And on Wednesday, I could run in the afternoon between my meetings.  It was very hot.

What is wrong with this picture?  Light poles in a middle of the pedestrian walk makes it very difficult to pass by.

Lovey-dovey writing on the sand.

Freddie (?) was engraved on a wall of a shrine.

A Run in the Dark

It has been almost two weeks since I ran last.  I could not shake my cold off.  Although it was snowing and it was still very early in the morning, I braved a run.

Still very dark before 6 am - saw the Morning Star (probably Venus).

A Yukitsuri at a private residence.

Fields were covered with snow.

The entrance road to a local high school has beautifully lined trees.

A big old crane at a local factory.

A train track of Johana Line.

My running footprints on a sidewalk.

Bushes.

A very clever snow melting system using underground water.
